The public transport service system plays an important role in any destination. For District of Jempol the public transport facility is concentrating on land transportation system which covers essentially hired vehicles and bus services. The public transportation service becomes the main mode of transportation for people who do not their own vehicles to move from one destination to another.
Bus service
Bus service forms the main mode of public transportation in Jempol District. The stage bus system provides services to the entire area of Jempol District. A study made on the rate of fares charged indicates that it is equivalent to amount imposed by other stage bus services in Malaysia, i.e. RM 0.30 for the first two kilometres and RM 0.05 per kilometer for the remaining kilometers, whilst for air-conditioned buses the rates are RM0.50 for the first two kilometers and RM 0.05 a kilometer for the remaining distance.
